iHeart radio music festival and the House of Music is in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena and Friday night and kicked off with a bang. I was glad it was here and not Allegiant as the sound is so much better at the TMobile Arena. The iheart Radio Music Festival Friday lineup hosted by Ryan Seacrest included ahnez Mo, Lenny Kravitz, TLC, Sheryl Crow who doesn’t seem to age, Bakar, Lil Durk, Miguel, Kane Brown and Lil Wayne. I’d forgotten how many of all of their songs I knew! Wear your comfy shoes and expect to be on your feet all night at this high energy music festival.
I’m a Las Vegas local but it’s the first time I’ve been to the iheart Radio Music Festival and I wasn’t sure what to expect. So here’s what to expect, what to bring, wear and do during the iheart radio music festival in Las Vegas.
Where is the iheart Radio Music Festival
The 2023 iheart Radio Music Festival was in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena. Which is located at The Park Vegas, 3780 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
There is paid event parking across the street at Aria Event parking.

Here’s the iheart Radio Music Festival line up for Friday and Saturday night. If you can’t make it, you can also stream the concert live on hulu or on demand from October 10 through October 31.

Agnez Mo opened the iheart radio music festival Friday night with her high energy performance. I actually love her music and the audience involvement made sure we were all warmed up, on our feet, dancing and ready.
Lenny Kravitz, what can I say? He’s a legend and you’ll know every single one of his songs which he slays plus he’s easy on the eyes!
TLC brought me back to my teens and lots of feel good vibes. Everyone from this era was singing along to every lyric and taken back in time.
Sheryl Crow is another icon whose about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I swear this woman doesn’t age. I don’t know her secret but I want to!

What to wear to the iheart radio music festival Las Vegas
It’s not as cold as it normally is in the T-Mobile Arena so no need for a jacket. The dress code varied from jeans and sexy tops to sequin gowns so wear whatever you’re going to be comfortable in for 6 plus hours that you can dance and walk in.
Shoe wise, stick to comfortable shoes. There’s lots of steps, walking, dancing and time on your feet. Even if you’re not in the pit and have a seat most people were standing for the majority of the iheart radio music festival. Especially on the floor and lower level.
Don’t wear a hat! However, cute. You’ll only be obstructing the view of the people behind you.
Clear bags aren’t required. The bag requirement is a bag that’s smaller than 9x5x2″ for the iheart radio music festival 2023 in Las Vegas.
What to take to the iheart radio music festival
It’s a long day and night so besides your phone you might want to bring a battery backup. Obviously it goes without saying that you’ll need your ID and credit card but that’s about it. Try to bring as little as possible and be hands free so you don’t have to put your purse on the floor.
What to expect at the iheart radio music festival Las Vegas
When booking your iheart radio music festival tickets bear in mind that the floor level isn’t raked so if you’re short and not in the front row you might struggle to see and be better off in one of the tiered levels.
There are lots of restrooms throughout the arena but they get really busy so try to plan your bathroom breaks accordingly so you don’t miss the people you really want to see. As the breaks between each act are really short. They have this show on a tight schedule and it moves along seamlessly.
Because people stagger when they arrive and leave the traffic isn’t too bad along Park. However, the traffic in Vegas is bad in general right now with the F1 construction so allow yourself plenty of time to get there. If you’re wanting to park definitely get there early.
You can kill time exploring the interactive House Of Music in front of the T-Mobile Arena or go and get a drink at Park MGM.
Before you go into the iheart radio music festival, make sure to take advantage of the photo opp at the heart sign to the right of the main entrance to the TMobile Arena.
You might be waiting in line for a while to get into the arena, so definitely wear sunscreen.
Things to do at the iheart radio music festival & House of Music
Besides the main iheart radio music festival inside the arena there’s also the House of Music which opens at 4pm on both days and is free to attend. It’s a little odd but also fun and interactive.
Including having your aura read in the Kelly Clarkson room, sparkly hair clip-in’s at the TMobile Magenta Lounge, and Seagram drink samples.
