Where are their Oscar dresses from? Here’s how to dress like the celebrities on the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards
If you’re trying to find the dresses and gowns the best dressed celebrities wore on the red carpet for the Oscars 2024 I’ve hunted them down for you. Including Emily Blunt’s champagne color gown, Emma Stones mint green strapless gown, America Ferrera’s pink chainmail gown and Charlize Theron’s elegant silver satin gown. Some are custom made but whether it’s their actual dress, a designer or luxe for less similar style these gowns would be stunning for your next black tie wedding, gala, New Year’s Eve party or red carpet dress.

How to copy Anya Taylor Joy’s Oscar 2024 gown
Anya Taylor Joy wore a Dior Haute Couture silver gown. So you’re definitely not getting your hands on that one unless you have a stylist with really good contacts or are an A’ List celebrity. However, these stunning silver sequin gowns are really similar for a dazzling red carpet look or New Years Eve dress.
Where to get Emily Blunt’s champagne gown she wore for the 2024 Oscars
Emily Blunt’s Oscar dress was a beaded champagne-color tank gown was look 16 from Schiaparelli’s spring 2024 couture show and was made by Daniel Roseberry. From a distance it looked like a sleek column dress but the details like the floating shoulders, trompe l’œil men’s boxer short motif in contrasting silver sequins and gathered train made it so unique. I know some people were confused but the shoulders were intentional.
You can contact Schiaparelli directly for more information on this gown or shop for one of the more affordable and wearable styles below.
Where to shop for Emma Stone’s mint green strapless peplum gown
Emma Stone wore a mint green Louis Vuitton strapless peplum gown to the 2024 Oscars. Hopefully you’re zipper won’t bust open on any of these similar green strapless gowns like it did on Emma Stone’s Oscar dress!
Where was Charlize Theron’s silver satin Oscars 2024 dress from
Charlize Theron wore a Dior Haute Couture pale silver satin gown with a twist detail on the bust and draping at the shoulder at the Oscars 2024 for an elegant red carpet moment. Styled with Boucheron jewels. This dress mayb not be Dior but it’s just as elegant and with a lot lower a price tag!
Jennifer Lawrence’s Oscars 2024 polka dot gown is from Dior
Jennifer Lawrence wore a retro feeling custom strapless black and white polka dot gown, complete with a matching stole for the 96th Academy Awards. This was look 59 from Dior’s spring 2024 haute couture collection.
I loved the matching stole and that she took a risk with a print rather than a solid color. For a more affordable black and white polka dot gown, this maxi dress is ultra-wearable and ultra cute.
Where to get Arianna Grande’s strapless pink gown
Arianna Grande’s Oscars 2024 dress was a strapless pink gown by Giambattista Valli with a matching voluminous shrug. There’s been a lot of haters on this look but I personally loved it. The dress was flattering and the shrug made it a stand out, feminine red carpet look for me.
I found some very similar styles. Including some maxi and midi dresses, super glam pink shrugs with trains to complete the outfit for a dramatic look.

Who was America Ferrera’s pink dress by at the 2024 Oscars
America Ferrera wore one of my favorite designers on the red carpet at the Oscars 2024. America’s pink chainmail gown was from Atelier Versace and the jewelry from Pomellato. I wish this actual gown was available. Because if you read Best Luxury Handbags you’ll know how much I love pink and glam sparkly styles.
While her dress was custom made, there is a similar style in green (Look 11) in the Atelier Versace Fall Winter 2020 collection. I did also manage to find some other striking pink sequin gowns though so that you can copy her look from designer gowns to luxe for less.
What dress was Michelle Yeoh wearing at the Oscars 2024
Michelle Yeoh was wearing a custom one shoulder, black and silver sequined Balenciaga gown and opera gloves at the 2024 Oscars. The structure of this gown was stunning. I couldn’t find her exact Balenciaga dress as it’s custom but I did find some pretty silver gowns to copy her red carpet look.
Where to get Catherine O’Hara’s Oscar 2024 gown
Catherine O’Hara’s long sleeve black sequin gown was so sleek, elegant and flattering. It’s one of those black gowns that would work for lots of occasions. No one mentioned where the gown was from or who it was by but thankfully this style of dress is widely available.
What was Billie Eilish wearing to the 2024 Oscars
Billie Eilish was one of the few women who didn’t wear a gown on the red carpet at the 2024 Academy Awards. Instead she chose to wear a Chanel black, white and pink boucle jacket, midi skirt, pink headband and Mary Jane shoes with socks. While I didn’t love the look, I loved that she took a fashion risk and did something was was uniquely her. Rather than conforming to the norm.
