Larroudé boots are set to be my most worn boots for Fall/Winter
Larroudé shoes and boots have been on my radar for a while. They’re the hot shoe brand that gained quick popularity with celebrities and fashion people in the know like Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Dakota Johnson, Brie Larson, Heidi Klum, and Tracee Ellis Ross to name a few. As a Revolve ambassador I always see them when I’m searching for new fashion finds to share with you. So when they reached out to me, I jumped at the chance to try their stunning, fashion forward designs. At first it was the fashion forward styles that sold me on the brand but the more I learn about Larroudé shoes, the brand story, and the designs, the more I fall in love with them. I started with the Larroudé Kate boots in black and then the Kate Hi cream over the knee boots. Here’s my thoughts in an honest Larroude shoes review and what’s next on my wishlist!

Larroude brand story
Larroudé is a fairly new company, having only been founded in 2020 by wife and husband duo Maria and Ricardo Larroudé who both have a wealth of diverse experience in the fashion world. The brand is certified by the Leather Working Group and deeply committed to sustainable practices and reducing their environmental impact.
Our factory is responsible for the disposal of all industrial waste and takes active measures to reduce any environmental pollution, ensuring proper, while our packaging is made of 100% recyclable material. Larroude

Larroudé shoes | How I chose my style
When I’m buying investment pieces or shoes that are on the more expensive side, my first instinct is to buy styles I know I will wear a lot. Which is why my first choice was the Larroudé Kate black knee high boots. I love that they’re a neutral color with a classic pointed toe and stiletto style but still edgy and different with their stamped leather, high shine finish.
One of my suggestions when choosing your next pair of expensive shoes and boots is to not just follow fashions but to think about what you’ll style them with, when you’d wear them and if you really love them or not.
I loved the look of the Kate knee high boots when I got them but unfortunately I’d ordered a size too big. When I went to exchange them, I changed my mind, as I already have so many black boots. So I ordered the ivory instead and accidentally selected the Kate Hi instead of the Kate.
Now in a super duper thigh-high silhouette. With just enough height to go over the knee. Larroudé

When I first put on the Larroude Kate Hi boots, I was thinking “wait, these are over the knee boots. Will I actually wear cream OTK boots?” Once I saw them in the mirror and thought about it, I realized how versatile these cream over the knee boots are and how much I loved them. I’m actually so glad I made the mistake, as it’s making me try something I’d never have ordered or tried otherwise.
Ivory is still a neutral but brighter, fresher and a lot more unique than black OTK boots. I mean everyone has those but I haven’t seen anyone else wearing these. I felt an emotional connection to them that made me forget all about black knee high boots.

Are Larroude shoes comfortable
The “Larroudé cloud” is their foam insole which has high footprint cushioning to minimize discomfort and fatigue. It’s designed to ensure their shoes and boots are as comfortable as possible. However, the Larroude Kate boots are still 3.8″ heels so don’t expect them to feel like your sneakers. They do feel more comfortable and cushioned than the majority of boots out there though.

Larroude boots | Celebrity style
I started with the Larroude Kate boots which is one of their most popular styles. Larroudé boots and shoes are a celebrity favorite. As seen on Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Dakota Johnson, Brie Larson, Heidi Klum, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
There are several versions of the Larroudé Kate boot so if you want the knee high boot order the Kate Boots NOT the Kate Hi Boot which are Larroude’s over the knee boots.

The Kate Hi boots also come in super soft black or brown leather if you don’t want cream.
If you’re influenced by celebrity style, the Larroudé Kate Hi boots are also the exact pair of sleek leather boots Selena Gomes wore in New York and that Taylor Swift wore in black to the Kansas City Chiefs VS Buffalo Bills game in December.
Larroude Kate Hi boots
The Larroude Kate Hi Ivory Shine kid skin leather are handmade in Brazil with a memory foam cushion insole, a finely crafted leather sole for support, durability, and comfort and a 3.8 inch stable flare heel. There’s no zipper, they’re an easy pull on style which I really appreciated for ease of slipping on.
- Closed pointed toe.
- Pull up boot with no zipper.
- 3.8 inch stiletto heel.
- Leather sole is finely crafted for support, durability, and comfort.
- Insole with memory foam cushion.
- Handmade in Brazil.
The soles on these cream over the knee boots are beautifully made but don’t offer the most grip. So if you find them too slippery you can always have them resoled. Their reasoning is that while their soles may not offer some of the grip of synthetic options but they reflect their commitment to sustainable luxury and craftsmanship.
I just wish I’d ordered a full size smaller not just half a size. As they felt perfect when I first put them on but the buttery soft leather does stretch out. Oh well, my feel always get cold so thick socks it is and I can always add an insole. I do also want to get them in black so will order a 6 in those when I have the budget for another pair.
Does Larroude run small or small?
Larroudé says all of their shoes and boots run true to size. However, I found my normal size 7 in the Larroude Kate boots to be too big even with thick socks. So I sized down to the 6.5 in the Kate Hi boots and feel like I could have even gone down to a size 6. As the leather is super soft and stretches out with wear. So the next Larroude boots on my wish list are the Ivory Kate boots (knee high style) in a size 6 and the Kate Hi in black.

Where are Larroudé shoes made?
Larroude shoes are made in a 15,000 square foot in Sapiranga, Brazil.

How to care for your Larroude boots and shoes
Larroude shoes come with a protective sticker on the sole which you’ll want to peel off once you know they fit and you’re keeping them but before you wear them out.
The best way to preserve your Larroudé shoes is to store them in their original dust bags that they come with in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. I keep mine in their dust bags in my closet which doesn’t have windows. If they weren’t cream I probably wouldn’t bother with the dust bags but I’m always worried about color transfer with lighter colors.
When it comes to cleaning them, Larroudé has different recommendations depending on their finish. So it’s best to refer to their care guide and avoid using any cleaning products that might damage them.
