Clear skin secrets: How ZIIP Dot eliminates pimples fast!
If you’re wondering how to get rid of pimples fast ZIIP DOT is a breakthrough spot treatment that helps clear acne, blocked pores, hormonal breakouts and redness faster without drying out your skin like spot cream can. My hormonal breakouts are so annoying and it’s hard to feel confident when your skin’s acting up. In the past, I always just used spot creams which I’m not the biggest fan of. Yes, they do the job but they also leave me with a dry, flaky patch that’s harder to cover up than the pimple was! ZIIP DOT was designed to be a super quick on the go solution for clearing spots and breakouts faster, while calming your skin and without leaving dry patches. Here’s everything you need to know about ZIIP Dot and how to decide whether ZIIP Dot or ZIIP Halo is best for you.

ZIIP Dot review
Ziip Dot review of the newest skincare device from ZIIP Beauty powered by both Microcurrent and Nanocurrent technology and designed to clear acne and blemishes fast. I’m sharing how Ziip Dot and ZIIP clear gel work together to clear acne and reduce spots. The science behind Microcurrent and Nanocurrent technology and tips for incorporating Ziip Dot into your skincare routine.
How does ZIIP Dot work
ZIIP Dot uses both microcurrent and nanocurrent to tackle your spots from all angles. It’s not just an acne spot treatment but great for anyone who gets regular or occasional pimples or is looking for a hormonal breakout treatment.

I love that it not only treats breakouts using Microcurrent to reduce inflammation, swelling, draw out impurities and bacteria that cause acne but also uses Nanocurrent™ to clear and calm breakouts fast and rebalances your skins microbiome. Even the conductive gel helps get rid of pimples and calm. As it’s packed with added actives carefully chosen for their anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects like mint and aloe vera.
How to use your ZIIP Dot acne treatment device
There is no app required to use the ZIIP Dot. You simply apply the ZIIP Clear Gel and turn it on. You should use your ZIIP DOT as soon as you feel a spot under the skin and then use it 2-3 times a week.
Spot treatment:
- Apply 2-3 pumps of ZIIP Clear Gel to clean skin. It’s designed for your face only, do not use this device on your chest.
- For the 90-second treatment press the power button once to turn on. It will light up and beep when ready.
- Place the electrodes on the skin, twist your ZIIP DOT clockwise & counterclockwise while ensuring full skin contact during the 1st 60 seconds. This is when the device is in TREAT mode, which uses Microcurrent to draw out impurities and treat spots. You will feel the tingle!
- After 60 seconds, the ZIIP Dot beeps and automatically switches to CALM mode and uses Nanocurrent™ to soothe the skin, calm redness and repair your skin’s barrier.
- Hold, don’t twist, your device over the same areas you treated in TREAT mode.
- Clean your ZIIP Dot acne spot treatment device with a dry cloth.
- Thoroughly wash your face afterwards to wash away all the impurities the device pulled out and continue with your skincare routine.
Full face treatment: - Long hold the power button to turn on.
- Use the same way as the shorter spot treatment but the TREAT mode lasts for 4 minutes and CALM mode lasts for 2 minutes in this mode.

TIPS FOR USING THE DEVICE:
Make sure the electrode behind the ZIIP logo is in contact with the spot. You’ll feel a tingle when it’s found one! I find it quite intense!
I find my skin is red after the treatment but this goes away within 5 minutes of completing the treatment.

Do I have to use a conductive gel with my ZIIP Dot
It’s essential to use a conductive gel with your ZIIP DOT acne treatment device for the device to work properly. The ZIIP DOT comes with the ZIIP conductive Clear Gel (1.7 fl. oz | 30ml). It’s packed with added actives that have both anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects like Dendriclear, Mint, Cucumber and Aloe Vera.
The electrical currents also improves your skincare absorption by up to 120%. Which means the spot-clearing skincare ingredients in Clear Gel are absorbed deeper during your treatment and they can really do their job.

NB: ZIIP recommends waiting 10 days after receiving an injectable or laser procedure before using your ZIIP DOT acne clearing device. There are a few people who should not use ZIIP Dot, e.g. if you’re pregnant. Please consult your physician with any further questions or concerns.
ZIIP Dot or ZIIP Halo, which is right for me
Which is better ZIIP Dot or ZIIP Halo? Both are great but it all comes down to what your skin concerns are.

ZIIP DOT acne treatment device is for anyone over the age of 18 who is only struggling with acne, blocked pores and blemish related issues such as hyperpigmentation and redness. It doesn’t connect to an app like the ZIIP Halo does as the treatment programs are preloaded onto the device. It’s a free form device that only takes 1.5-4 minutes and can be used on the go.

ZIIP HALO offers lots of anti-aging benefits like sculpting, lifting, and increases collagen production as well as having a blemish treatment. Besides the automatic 4 minute treatment you can do simply by turning it on, all of the other treatments are selected from the ZIIP app. I find the Problem Solver treatment in the app really effective at getting rid of pimples fast but I primarily use it for it’s tightening and sculpting treatments. It’s my one device that does it all.

If you already have the ZIIP HALO, you can just use the Problem Solver treatment to help clear your spots. You don’t necessarily need both the ZIIP Dot and Halo. Although, the ZIIP DOT acne treatment device is great if you’re looking for a super fast and convenient solution where you don’t even need to open the app and it also calms the skin too.
If you want both the anti-aging benefits and blemish treatment, the ZIIP Halo is going to be better for you. It is more expensive because it does so much more. I feel that it’s best overall investment as it treats multiple skincare concerns. Our skin and it’s needs change over time and the Halo helps to treat it through it’s many stages of change.
