The best white platform heels for Summer & the pair I’m wearing now
White platform sandals and heels are still in style! I love a good platform heel as I’ll take any help with my height I can get. I’ve worn so many different iterations of platform heels over the last few decades from chunky to stiletto to wedges. This time I’m doing white platform shoes a bit differently and going for more of a chunky heel than a stiletto. Versace does it best with their hot pink Versace platform sandals and white chunky platform sandals but I wanted a more affordable option like these ALDO white platform sandals (pictured). Since I don’t forecast the platform trend or bright pink color trend lasting more than a couple of years at most and prefer to invest in classic styles that’ll last, I added a lot of cheap white platform sandals to this trending white heels edit as well as designer.

Are platform sandals in style
Yes white platform sandals and platform shoes in general are still in style. They’re not as big of a trend as they were last year but you can still wear them. Versace and Valentino really made brightly colored satin platforms come back into fashion but simple white leather ones are easier to clean and go with more outfits. As seen on model Ashley Graham and Jessica Wang at Marc Jacobs Runway Show.
Trending white heel sandals styles this year include pointed toes (yes they’re back), barely there straps, Mary Jane shoes, rope styles, mules and wedges.
Why wear platform sandals
I find platform shoes so much more comfortable than stiletto heels. If you don’t bash up your ankles in white chunky platforms that is. I remember having bruised ankles back in the 90’s from my chunky platform heels. They’re great for making legs look longer and slimmer and I find them way easier to walk in than stilettos. Plus the thick sole is more comfortable than thin soled shoes.
Best white platform sandals to wear
I’ve been stocking up on platform heels including a pair of pink satin platform sandals and sparkly gold ones. However, I also ended up with a pair of ALDO white platform sandals. They’re not necessarily cheap white platform sandals but they’re definitely one of the more affordable options. As they’re so much more versatile than bright colors and satin and I can wear them for both day and night. Whereas the pink satin are definitely more of a glam evening shoe.
These ALDO heels are a great option for cheap white platform sandals. They’re comfy, affordable and go with pretty much all of my Summer wardrobe. I sized down since my feet were sliding forward due to the pitch. Another brand who does really on trend cheap white platform sandals is Steve Madden who always have so many great luxe for less styles.
