Bodycon dresses are back & making for a sexy 2026
Bodycon dresses and are back in a big way for 2026. These formfitting designer bodycon dresses were seen all over the Spring Summer 2026 runways and aren’t limited to bandage dresses or designer brands only. It’s anything figure hugging. Whether that’s a sexy cut out mini black bodycon dress, maxi white bodycon dress or cozy sweater dress.
It’s not just mini bodycon dresses dominating the scene anymore. Nensi Dojanka took cut outs to the max at their runway show. Dolce & Gabbana’s midi bodycon dresses were floral and low cut, Dundas felt fresh and youthful with lots of cut outs and chain detailing and Dua Lipa showed us how to do sexy.

How to wear a bodycon dress in 2026
For the 2026 bodycon dress trend, everyone’s doing it their own way. It’s a trend where you can find a style that works for you and rock it your way. Whether that’s effortlessly with a black leather jacket or dressed up for a night out.
The 2026 iterations of the bodycon dress are more wearable for everyday than the 00’s and have a modern edge. Think cool girl, in cut outs, rather than high street 00’s. Take a look at Guess for inspiration.
I wore bandage dresses a ton in the 00’s, especially when I lived in LA and they’re a classic style that’s here to stay. I’ve always loved flattering, figure hugging styles, probably from wearing so many corseted tutus as a ballerina.
So you can bet I’ll be wearing them through 2026 as well. I’ve already bought a couple of black bodycon dresses I was wearing through Winter and white bodycon dresses for Summer to wear with a heavy dose of self-tanner.

The Bodycon dresses to wear in 2026
Bodycon dresses are already trending. After the FW2026 shows I really struggled to find Nensi Dojaka dresses in stock. When you look at her dresses, you’ll see why.
The silhouette is fashion forward and feminine and ouvertly sexy, the cut and draping is so flattering and the material is almost whimsical. Making what could be a sharp bodycon silhouette a lot softer and more wearable.

Designer Bodycon Dresses
The material really does matter when it comes to any formfitting dress. The better the quality, the more flattering it’s going to be. So I definitely recommend going for the best of whatever’s in budget even if that’s not a designer bodycon dress.

The better brands tend to hold everything in more and lift and sculpt in the right places for a peachy derriere and without bunching in all of the wrong places or being see through. Especially when it comes to light colored and white bodycon dresses.

These designer bodycon dresses are absolutely stunning. From trending cut out bodycon mini dresses to 4D logos. I love the Givenchy 4D logo dress and cut out styles that you can make look more 20’s than 00’s with how you style them.
Bodycon Dresses Under $200
These body hugging styles range from sexy black bodycon dresses to cozy but fitted sweater midi dresses. The black off the shoulder LBD is one of my best sellers from my holiday party dress edit and more forgiving than a lot of other fitted styles.

Shop bodycon dresses 2026 under $200
Sexy and feminine bodycon dresses for under $200. Bodycon midi dresses, minis and figure flattering styles for 2026. Guess and Karen Millen have some fashion forward bandage dresses but because they’re on sale they’re selling out fast.
How to style bodycon dresses
In the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s it was all about lots of leg and strappy heels. While that still works for a sexy look, for 2026, the way to style bodycon dresses is more open. Whether it’s with practical shoes that make this a more relaxed for everyday or killer platform heels. Yes, platform heels are back too!

What shoes to wear with bodycon
For comfort think slides, sneakers, and cute flats. For a sexier look, platforms, strappy heels, over the knee boots with the shortest hemlines. Finished with chunky gold jewelry and dewy, highlighted skin.
