The Fendace Collection just dropped. This is what happens when the 2 powerhouses Versace & Fendi join forces
Fendace: Fendi by Versace and Versace by Fendi took Milan Fashion Week by storm and it’s finally available in their stores and online. If you’ve read the blog, you know how often I feature Versace and how much I love the bold, ultra feminine, vibrant styles. I signed up for the latest updates on this Donatella Versace, Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi’s latest project, Fendace last year and had early access when the collection dropped (5/12/22). So all of the latest news and where to get the Fendace Collection and Fendace bags is all here. Just don’t call it a collaboration, but a joining of forces working together rather than competing.

FENDACE Versace X Fendi Fashion Show
What is Fendace?
It’s less of a collaboration between Versace and Fendi and more of a joining of forces to create collections for each other. The Fendace fashion show in Milan showcased 50 looks in total for both men and women. With 25 looks from each designer for their pre-spring 2022 collections including clothes, accessories, shoes, boots and strikingly bold Fendace bags.
Whats in the Fendace collection 2022?
The Versace X Fendi Fendace collection consists of 50 stunning looks I can’t wait to get my hands on. 25 from Fendi designers Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini for Versace and 25 from Donatella Versace for Fendi.
Versace for Fendi
From the Versace by Fendi collection think sexy black dresses with gold Fendi necklaces, Versace’s iconic gold safety pins and long black lace gowns with Fendi’s double F motif featured on shoulder straps and waist lines. Along with dresses and separates in Versaces signature gold baroque prints worn with lots of gold Fendi jewelry and shoes.
Fendi by Versace
From the Fendi by Versace collection it was more high shine dresses, along with black dresses worn with Fendi’s double F logo tights. Versace’s gold Barocco print but with Fendi’s double F logo included in the print. Black Fendi double F sandals with Versace’s gold Medusa head. Some bold colorful looks and a stunning Fendi double breasted coat with matching knee hight boots.
For the bags Fendi’s Peekaboo and Baguette bag were reimagined with Versace’s gold Medusa head. If you’ve been torn between a Versace or Fendi bag, now you can have both! I’m crushing over the Fendace tote, baguette and micro bag as well as some of the bralettes. Ok, maybe just the whole Fendace collection!
The collection was inspired by the mid- to late-’90s era of the Italian house under Gianni Versace — the ’90s house soundtrack underscored this.

When will Fendace be available?
The Fendace collection dropped May 12th 2022. Here’s the best of it, including Fendace bags, womens clothing, shoes including a pair of pink satin crystal embellished sandals that are calling me and glam gold accessories. I’m excited to see that they’ve made the move away from fur to faux fur.

My favorite pieces from the Fendace collection?
Let’s be fair, since they had every supermodel from Naomi to Kate moss to Gigi, this collection was guaranteed to look absolutely breathtaking. I love them all but if I had to choose just a few, my favorite Fendace looks are looks number 3, 10 (what you can’t see from the photo is how sparkly it is), 17 and 43.
I wish I had the budget for the clothing but the accessories are the next best thing. I’ve shortlisted a few accessories that I can’t wait to get a better look at in store. My favroite Fendace bags, shoes and accessories I’ve short listed from the collection are:
- Sparkly pink strappy Fendace sandals (look 47).
- Gold logo choker necklace.
- Micro gold sparkly flap bag or whichever size fits my phone. I wish I had the budget for all of the bags, as I have a thing for gold chain straps and structured styles.
- White and gold Fendace belt as it goes with the sandals and could become a collectors item if this is a one-off joining of forces.
- Fendi double F black logo tights as I know how much I wear my Gucci tights and they’d get so much use. You can already get these which is perfect timing for Winter:
I’m not sure how I’m going to narrow it down as Versace’s my weakness when it comes to shoes and bags.
