How to Apply Freck OG for Natural-Looking Freckles (Step-by-Step Tutorial)
Fake freckles always look so cute, and the Freck OG freckle pen went viral when it first launched. It actually took me a while to jump on the faux freckle trend. As I wasn’t sure it would suit me and didn’t want to add another step to my makeup routine. If you love the look of sun-kissed skin, fake freckles have become one of the easiest ways to add a natural, youthful finish to your makeup, bring back freckles that foundation may cover, or even disguise the look of a spot. One of the most popular products for achieving this look is Freck OG – The Original Freckle pen by Freck Beauty. It’s a cult-favorite beauty product designed to create realistic-looking freckles in seconds. In this Freck OG review and tutorial, I’m sharing exactly how to apply it to create natural-looking fake freckles, how to make them last longer using setting spray, and whether this viral freckle product is actually worth it. I’ll also show my Freck OG before and after results, so you can see how realistic these faux freckles look once blended into the skin.

How to Use the Freck OG Freckle Pen for Natural-Looking Fake Freckles
This is one of those makeup products that takes a while to figure out but is quick and easy to use once you know how. Pro tip: always make sure you have enough product on the brush and dot on lightly.
The basics on how to create fake freckles with Freck OG are dip, dot, tap with your index finger to copy and paste but watch the video for the full tutorial. Because the desired effect is personal, it’s a lot of playing around. But if you go too heavy it’s easy to remove with a Q-tip or damp sponge. And if you go too light, add more.

To create natural-looking fake freckles that last, I prefer a glowy look with no setting powder so you don’t dull don’t your glow. So I set mine with Freck Face Hack setting spray instead.
Freck OG freckle pen review
Like I mentioned, it takes some playing around with to get the desired effect but once you do it’s a fun beauty product to play around with. The other downside is the size, the tube is tiny, unless you buy the XL size! So if you love fake freckles look or just want to accentuate your own, this is definitely worth giving a go. I’d recommend starting with Freck OG to test it and then getting the larger size if you like it.
On the plus side Freck Beauty is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and has skincare benefits! I know you’re not covering your face in it but it’s nice to know it has Damaskan Rose Flower Water to hydrate and soothe your skin. Especially if you’ve had a long day in the sun.

I personally think fake freckles look best on sun-kissed skin with natural summer makeup. Think dewy, bronzer skin and gold and brown colors. So I’ll share some different looks later in the season.
The World’s First Freckle Cosmetic that took the internet by storm. FRECK OG boasts the most natural, longest-lasting faux freckles on the market. Quick, realistic, buildable, and your new bff. Freck Beauty
