Human trafficking and sex trafficking affects an estimated 40 million people and it’s not just abroad. It’s everywhere and it’s happening in your town too! 40 million is the amount of children and adults currently trapped in modern slavery and human trafficking (stopthetraffik.org). We need to ask more questions, be more mindful and get involved. In this hard hitting interview with Kimberly Miles, Founder of B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation, she’s sharing what’s going on today in America and Worldwide and how her foundation is offering solutions and support for girls in vulnerable situations who have been abused, abandoned and exploited.

Human trafficking and the sex industry is something most of us find hard to discuss but it’s imperative to raise awareness and to help where’s it’s wanted. Having personally experienced sex trafficking it’s a subject that’s close to her heart and imperative to her to raise awareness, prevent and offer support where it’s wanted.

B.E. A S.H.E.R.O foundation offers various educational and support programs, as well as direct assistance and fundraisers. Like their upcoming I AM RADIANT Fashion Show on August 27th 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas is the 2nd highest city in the US for Human Trafficking and B.E. A S.H.E.R.O Foundation is doing everything in their power to change that.
Human Trafficking Crime Rate: 0.08% According to the Human Trafficking and the State Courts Collaborative, Nevada has a 5.77 per 100,000 human trafficking rate. Las Vegas, in particular, is a hotspot for such activities. FBI regards it as one of the “13 High-Intensity Child Prostitution Areas”.
