Shorts and blazer sets are still a big Summer 2026 fashion trend, dubbed this year as corporate core. Except this year we’re leaning more towards softer tailoring and chic but comfortable outfits. Think billowing pants, slouchy trench coats or long line blazers styled with stiletto pumps and structured medicine bags. These Summer styles for 2026 exude confidence while being super wearable.

Think belts, layers, hats, shoes, sunglasses and jewelry that means something to you. I for one have already started pushing myself to wear my hats that I love but that have been gathering dust.

Prepare for elegant statement dressing to continue in 2026 with the most chic and structured styles. Also dubbed the modern socialite, I know my friends and I have already started fully embracing this feminine, modern day, perfectly tailored aesthetic.
For Summer 2026, consider pieces like a classic black or white shirt and pencil skirt with slingback heels, an elegant satin slip dresses, artfully draped necklines, beautifully tailored skirt suits, waist accentuating belts, silk scarves and immaculate hair and makeup.

The great thing about this Summer 2026 fashion trend is that it’s easy to dress up or down with different shoes and accessories. From casual summer looks with flats to embellished dresses and heels.

Sheer tops, dresses and layers were in fashion last summer and continue to take center stage. They may sound a bit daunting at first but they’re actually pretty easy to style and you can make them as sexy or demure as you want. Whether it’s a sheer coverup dress for the beach, sexy going out dress or sheer shirt, step outside your comfort zone and give this summer trend a go.

I have so many slingback heels for the warmer months as they’re so easy to slip on versus buckling up sandals and they let your feet breathe. I’m so glad to see them staying around again this season as they come in so many colors and heel heights and are more leg lengthening than styles that cut you off at the ankle. They also compliment the Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy aesthetic really well.
For the most on trend looks for 2026, look for high heels, a glossy finish, and even a small peep toe. What’s great about shoes is that they’re an easy way to instantly update so many of your summer outfits.
7. XL bags
The bigger the better when it comes to bag trends this Summer. Top styles include the Saint Laurent icare XL tote, Bottega Veneta large Andiamo tote and Chanel Deauville tote bag.
8. Pink
Candy pink AKA powder pink is replacing hot pink for summer 2026 fashion.
