Area clothing, especially their sparkly crystal bow dresses, tops and body jewelry are giving me major clothing envy this season. I absolutely love the crystal embellished and crystal bow dresses which have been taking center stage thanks to Area NYC and Mach & Mach. It was love at first sight when I saw Area’s open back crystal bow embellished dress on Jade Holland Cooper. It’s such an elegant but sexy, classic statement little black dress. Apparently everyone else thought so too as it’s sold out. The crystal bow trends been going for a couple of years now and looks set to stay for next season at least. Area Clothing has some of the most stunning crystal bow and ribbon dresses and Mach and Mach’s cinderella style crystal ribbon shoes complete this glam, ultra feminine look perfectly.

Area Clothing crystal embellished dresses & luxe for less alternatives
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know sparkly glam styles are my favorite. Which is why I always have so much fun putting event dress edits together. The crystal bow dresses and shoes that have been popping up this year are some of my favorite styles. Especially the ones by Area NYC.
If you’re not sure when and where you’d wear it, go for a classic style outfit, bag or crystal bow earrings that won’t date as quickly. Or get your partner to take you out as these dresses and shoes deserve to be seen.
Area Clothing has so many crystal embellished dresses out right now that it was hard to narrow it down. From their crystal trim tartan mini dresses to their head turning crystal cup mini dress. I’ve included lots of luxe for less styles in this edit as Area NYC is quite an expensive designer brand. Although they do have a beautiful crystal bow v-neck t-shirt dress for under $700 that’s on my wish list and would be perfect for the holidays as it’s not fitted. As well as some Area NYC sale finds.

Area Clothing metallic dresses
Metallics and high shine clothing, bags and shoes are a big trend for 2023 and Area NYC has some stunning metallic mini dresses and gowns. If they’re a little on the pricey side, I’ve found some high shine, high impact alternatives starting at under $100.
Area Clothing body jewelry & accessories
Area’s crystal cupchain bow dress is definitely for the daring as it’s more like body jewelry than a dress. However, their crystal body jewelry and belts are perfect for throwing over your crop tops and shorts or other dresses to create as many crystal dresses as you have outfits to wear under them.
Mach & Mach crystal bow shoes and alternatives
There’s some controversy of whether similar styles and dupes are good or not. I’m not endorsing copycats or exact dupes. However, if there’s a similar style that makes it affordable then I think you should be able to wear it and not be excluded because of a price tag. Mach & Mach and Amina Muaddi crystal ribbon heels are beauties but if you’re looking for more affordable styles, I’ve got you covered.
