Going out outfits and dresses are something I seem to have accumulated over the years. I’ve been looking for the perfect dinner date outfit for Valentines Day and have included some of my favorites in the edit. If you’re looking for casual date outfit ideas, a lot of it will come down to how you style it as much as the actual dress or outfit. A leather jacket or oversized blazer can easily dress down a sexier style if you’re not sure where you’re going on your date.
A simple white, looser fitting dress with a denim jacket is an effortless look but still makes the perfect cute date night outfit. An off the shoulder top and skinny jeans or leather pants can also be casual and comfortable but also sexy.
I always find that whatever I’m wearing, either a red lip or my favorite perfume gives me a little boost of confidence. The looks below would all work whether you’re going on a coffee date, casual first date or happy hour at a more laid-back bar.

Finding the right dress to wear on a first date to make the right impression can be overwhelming. The right dress is something that you feel comfortable and confident in rather than just following trends.
