NBD dresses and clothing is the fashion forward brand on Revolve but is it any good? Read before you buy! #ITSNBD
NBD dresses and clothing are one of the more popular, fashion forward brands on Revolve. I always end up ordering from them as their styles are on trend and a reasonable price which is why I wanted to do a NBD clothing review for you. However, there’s things you should know before ordering from this brand. Especially when it comes to knowing what size (check the NBD size chart below) to order in NBD dresses and tops, etc as a lot of people ask if their clothes and dresses run small. Hopefully these tips will make sure you’re less likely to have to deal with returns.

NBD clothing review: sizing | Do NDB clothes and dresses run small
I used to find that NBD clothing and dresses were a bit inconsistent sizing wise for me and if anything they run big rather than small. The main reason I’ve had to do so many NBD returns had nothing to do with the quality but the sizing. The qualities been really good! However, more recently I’ve been much happier with the fit.
I’ve loved the styles I’ve ordered but was really unlucky with the sizing in the past. Like the black leather mini skirt above and below. I loved the look of the skirt and quality but the XS which was my normal size was way too big. Luckily, I’ve been finding the sizing more consistent and true to size recently.
Built in cups like bustiers also don’t tend to work too well for me with this brand. I’m either spilling over the top in an XS or it’s gaping in a small.
This is one brand I definitely suggest ordering a few sizes in even if you think you know your size to try and find one that fits. As sometimes the sizing runs big and sometimes it runs small. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of each style on Revolve to read the reviews and see how the sizing runs for that particular style.

Favorite NBD dress
I just got this NBD pink satin mini dress and what blew me away was the quality. The material is so thick and it’s really well made. However it does run big and the XXS was sold out. So I had my tailor take the shoulder up and in and the strapless side made smaller too as it was gaping.
If you don’t have a tailor, I highly recommend finding one. Tailoring clothes to make them made to measure always makes them look more expensive and saves issues with wardrobe malfunctions on poorly fitting clothes.
The color is the prettiest pink and pictured true to color. I wore it for our Valentine’s dinner and got so many compliments on it. Definitely order this one before it sells out!

This is the other NBD dress I have and it fits like a dream. The strap are adjustable too and I don’t feel the need to wear a bra with it. It’s also on sale!
Is NBD clothing good quality?
The quality of NBD clothing is normally consistent. The leather skirt was the first outfit I had an issue with and it was only that the button had already fallen off when it arrived. All of the NBD dresses have been great.
It was another NBD outfit that I wanted to love and that fit perfectly. I just wasn’t in love with the materials and since one of the buttons was off when I got it it hit the return pile. However, it’s now on sale and if you like cozy, fuzzy materials and don’t mind reinforcing the buttons yourself it could be a cute outfit to try.
NBD clothing best sellers | Dresses, tops and bottoms
NBD has lots of best sellers on Revolve. Including this top. However, unlike the skirt that was too big, this top was too small. I would have reordered in a small but the bow just wasn’t flattering on me as I’m fuller chested.
This NBD clothing turquoise bodysuit and matching mini skirt is one of my favorite outfits ever and I find it runs true to size. The color is stunning and it moves beautifully. It does need a lot of steaming and you might want to use some double sided fashion tape on the top but it fits perfectly and I got so many compliments wearing it.
Would I order NBD clothing again
By this NBD review you’d probably think not but honestly, the pink dress and turquoise skirt set changed my mind and I’m converted. I think if I just order a couple of sizes going forward I’ll have more luck and probably need to wait until XXS are back in stock.
The problem with only ordering one size and then returning it and trying to order another size is that they’re then often sold out. Which tells me the styles are working for people and popular.

30 best NBD dresses and tops on my favorites list
These are the pieces I’m tempted to order next but in a few different sizes. There’s a lot of pink, turquoise and sparkly dresses and pieces on the edit as they’re all big trends this year. As well as a couple of rompers for days when it’s too windy to wear dresses here in Vegas.
I’ll let you know how they work out. Lots are on sale though, so if you want them, get them before they sell out.
