The preppy fashion trend isn’t just for the rich and country club members, Polocore is dominating the runways, fashion scene and TikTok and giving us old money vibes. With polo dresses, stripe button down shirts, pleated mini skirts and socks and loafers being the outfit du jour. While neutrals like navy, black, white and cream are still very much center front of this trend, it’s also ok to add more colorful pieces and patterns. Which is how I discovered Beverly Hills X Revolve and their preppy style clothes.

I’m personally loving the preppy aesthetic trend and all of the preppy outfits around this year. So I’ve been gradually collecting pieces from the Beverly Hills X Revolve collection which embodies smart casual, preppy and country club everyday style.
This new Revolve brand is a collaboration between themselves and the city of Beverly Hills, who they’ve partnered with to curate a preppy fashion style capsule collection that contains cable knit sweaters, blazers, polo dresses and pieces designed to elevate your everyday style.
Here’s my honest Beverly Hills X Revolve try on haul and review. As well as lots of preppy aesthetic outfit ideas and inspiration.
What is preppy style, preppy outfits and country club style
The definition of what preppy style clothes are is now a blend of both the preppy Ivy League style and country club aesthetic. Preppy fashion is a timeless classic but right now the preppy style is a major fashion trend.
Women’s preppy clothing styles include navy blazers, cable knit sweaters, seersucker, blue and white stripes, button-down shirts, pleated mini skirts, tweed suits, polo shirts and dresses, rugby shirts, tennis sweaters, loafers and sneakers with socks. The idea of the preppy country club aesthetic is elevated casual outfits that are both stylish and comfortable.
I can’t wait to get my hands on this outfit to wear to Saturday brunch with the girls when it comes back in stock in my size.
Beverly Hills X Revolve Collection review | The preppy outfits to wear right now
The Beverly Hills X Revolve collection is full of preppy aesthetic and country club outfits. These are the pieces I have so far but I have my eye on their striped skirt and matching pleated skirt and navy blazer as well. The sizing varies from style to style so definitely read the sizing notes on each e.g. mens sizing, unisex, women’s. I’m wearing an XS in everything except the cable knit sweater which is a XXS.
Price wise, the brand’s pretty fair for the quality. I just wish more pieces were machine washable and not hand wash only.
Beverly Hills X Revolve navy turtleneck
Their navy turtleneck sweater is such a cute wardrobe basic that feels a little more elevated from your basic styles because of the embroidered crest. Which is giving me preppy and country club vibes depending on how you style it. I’m wearing an XS and feel like this style runs true to size.
Style it with jeans and leggings for everyday casual, with bike shorts, or with a pleated mini skirt with loafers or slingbacks for a more preppy outfit and look.
Beverly Hills X Revolve Cable knit sweater | Ivy League style
There’s something about women’s cable crew neck sweaters that makes them perfect for creating an Ivy League style outfit or Country Club aesthetic. It’s one of those classics that can be styled so many ways. This one’s not too thick so it’s great for layering over shirts or under blazers and jackets.
Cable crew neck sweater preppy outfit ideas:
- Style it layered over a button down shirt with a pleated mini skirt for a preppy outfit.
- As above but throw the cable knit over your shoulders for true country club style.
- Wear it with leggings for a casual and comfortable everyday look that’s smarter than loungewear.
- Do a half tuck into jeans with boots, sneakers or loafers.
- Layer it under a jacket for extra warmth. A navy blazer with a white cable knit sweater keeps the look preppy and fresh.
I’m wearing an XS in this Beverly Hills X Revolve sweater. I could have sized up to have more length in the body but I didn’t want to have too much bulk for layering it over shirts.
Polocore Beverly Hills X Revolve striped polo maxi dress | Easy preppy outfit
If you read my blog you’ll know how much I’m loving the polo dress trend AKA ‘Polocore’ this year which goes hand in hand with the preppy fashion trend and country club aesthetic. This striped polo maxi dress is thicker and warmer than t-shirt material so a cozy option for Spring. It also has a back vent so that you can actually walk and not waddle in it! The only downside is that it’s another hand wash only item.
I’ve been wearing this Beverly Hills X Revolve polo dress a lot and styling it with everything from heels to high tops. Polo dress outfit ideas include:
- For a preppy outfit, style with loafers and a cable knit sweater thrown over your shoulders.
- Dress it up with heels and a belt.

The white Beverly Hills Oversized Tee is more Ivy League style than Country Club aesthetic but a versatile wardrobe staple that also comes in grey. It’s not the softest t-shirt but it’s under $100 and runs true to size. I wouldn’t normally wear graphic tees but this ones fun and works for this years preppy fashion trend in a more laid back casual way. It’s not giving old money vibes like some country club aesthetic outfits do but it is youthful and fresh.
Style it with leggings, jeans, with bike shorts, tucked into a mini skirt with loafers and a sweater draped over your shoulders, with slides or sneakers.
