Vivaia Shoes: Pointed Tie Ballet Flats & Sneakers Sizing, Quality, Comfort, Worth it?
Vivaia shoes are my latest eco-conscious shoe brand discovery so after a month of wear, here’s my honest Vivaia shoes review. I tried both the Vivaia flats (Aria pointed toe ballet flats, Urban unisex sneakers and trending sneakerinas. Spoiler, I loved the white sneakers I’d been gifted so much I bought them with my own money in black too. Are they comfortable? How do they fit? Are they worth it? Where to buy Vivaia shoes and do I recommend Vivaia recycled and eco-friendly shoes?

Vivaia shoes reviews | Vivaia pointed-toe ballet flats (Aria 5°)
These pointed toe ballet flats are probably the most well known and popular Vivaia flats. Not only for their classic design which comes on over 40 colors but for their comfort. They do also have a square toe if you’re not into pointed toe shoes.
Let’s start with their comfort. Are the Vivaia flats as comfortable as Vivaia shoes claim. Well on the technical side these ballet flats have heel rebound, arch support, forefoot support, and are shock absorbing. They also have a wider pointed toe box which means no more squeezed toes. Especially as these are material and not hard leather.

The insoles felt supportive and gave good cushioning and the non-slip soles are nice. However, I did find the heel needed some breaking in to not give me blisters. I fixed this by wearing plasters the 1st few wears but everything else about them was comfortable.
What I really love about these is that they’re foldable and packable. So you can drive in them, switch in and out of your heels or travel with them.
The second bonus is that they’re machine washable. Just remember to remove the insole first. You can’t tumble dry them but they’re quick air dry and took about an hour in the garden to dry.
The 3rd bonus is the price. These Vivaia shoes are under $100 (at the time of writing this).

The flats are also more practical than I thought. As much as their fun colors and patterns are tempting, these neutral cap toe ballet flats go with pretty much everything.
I initially wanted a leather pair of cap toe shoes but the fact these are foldable and washable makes them so much more practical not just for everyday but for city breaks in the summer when you’re feet get hot and sweaty.
Vivaia shoes review | Unisex sneaker sliders (Urban) – mesh
If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of low key sneakers that are easy to slip on and go these are the best I’ve found. And being a WBFF Pro Diva, I’ve tried a lot of sneakers in my time.
These unisex sneakers lived up to everything they claimed to do and are so comfortable even without socks. Which makes these Vivaia shoes great not just for the gym and working out but for city breaks and everyday. They will definitely be coming with me on all future trips that involve a lot of walking!
I like that these mesh sneakers are logo free for more of a multipurpose sneaker that works just as well for the gym as it does for everyday casual comfort. If you don’t want white they come in 23 different colors including some warmer wool versions.

For my eco-conscious shoppers, the Vivaia sneakers are made from recycled yarn, sugarcane-based EVA and packaged with 100% recycled cardboard.
“We use recycled materials and knit-to-shape technology that reduces production waste by over 30% compared to traditional footwear processes.” Vivaia

VIVAIA shoes review: Sneakerinas
I’ve written a whole separate review on VIVAIA sneakerinas as they’re my current favorite flats. A hybrid between ballet flats and sneakers, that are comfortable, machine washable and super versatile when it comes to styling. I find they run true to size and I love that they’re foldable too.

Do I recommend Vivaia shoes
I definitely recommend Vivaia shoes if you’re looking for something that combines function, comfort and style. Especially if you’re into sustainable fashion and minimizing your carbon footprint. They’re also such a good price for the quality.
