VIVAIA Sneakerina Review: The Trendy Hybrid Shoe Everyone’s Talking About
VIVAIA sneakerinas are the ballet-sneaker hybrid you’ve been seeing on all the celebrities and modes off duty. The reason they’re so popular, besides being super cute, is that they’re so comfortable, versatile and the girly alternative to both traditional trainers and classic ballerina shoes. I decided on VIVAIA sneakerinas vs a designer version for a few reasons: they’re the brand I’d seen on celebrities, they were a fraction of the price, I know how comfortable VIVAIA shoes are as I already own 3 pairs, and I wouldn’t have to baby the satin as they’re machine washable. I’m not willing to pay a fortune for something I’m too afraid to wear. In this VIVAIA review, I’m comparing both VIVAIA Cristina and Carol, their features, sizing, how to style them and an exclusive discount code, so keep reading.
This VIVAIA review contains both affiliate links and gifted items which do not affect the price or my opinion.

VIVAIA shoes review: Carol and Cristina sneakerinas
I got both styles deliberately; the Carol and the Cristina, so I could compare them side by side and help you figure out which one is right for you. And honestly, having two pairs means when one’s in the wash, because yes, they’re machine washable, which was a non-negotiable for me, I can be wearing the other pair.
In this VIVAIA shoe review I’m sharing the styles I decided on, the fit, quality, how they compare to the designer version, and which ones I’d recommend depending on your lifestyle.
VIVAIA Sneakerina features
I love the slimline silhouette and satin shine of sneakerina’s but I also love VIVAIA’s design features that make them comfortable, practical and a stand out:
Price: These are under $200 VS designer sneakerina’s which start at around $600 and go up to over $1000.
Comfort: The Carol and Cristina are great for all foot widths but they’re also ‘Wide-Foot Friendly’. As the squared toe box means generous space and comfort. The insoles are also one of my favorite features as they’re both so soft and springy. They’re one of those shoes you can wear all day and are great for city breaks where you’ll be doing a ton of walking.

Soles: are designed for grip and comfort. If you’re planning on driving in them, you might prefer the Carol, as the rubber sole wraps up the heel to protect the material.
Customization: you can customize your laces from the color to clip on accessories. They have lots of options on their website, so you can swap them out to match your outfit and vibe that day.
Foldable: The VIVAIA sneakerina Cristina is foldable. Which makes them easy to throw in your bag for commuting to work, or wearing to drive in before swapping to heels.
Slip on style: The laces are designed to not need tying or untying. Just tie them once and then slip them on and off.
Machine washable: probably the main selling point is that they’re machine washable. These give you that designer aesthetic with low maintenance. Making it a high end style that actually lasts: That’s real girl math.

VIVAIA shoes sizing
All of my VIVAIA shoes have run true to size in both width and length, including bot the Cristina and Carol sneakerinas. I’m wearing my usual size 37 in both pairs.
How to style sneakerinas
When it comes to sneakerinas, these aren’t just comfy, they add an on trend stylish finish to every look and are so versatile. You can wear them anytime you’d normally wear sneakers but because they’re satin and less chunky, they also go with dressier looks. From jeans to feminine dresses, loungewear to shorts sets. These shoes make daily styling so effortless. I love playing around with styling this it-girl style.

Which VIVAIA sneakerinas are right for you
If you’re torn between which pair of sneakerinas to get, it’s hard as the features are similar and you can’t go wrong with either but a few differences that might help you decide are:
- VIVAIA Carol is great if you’re looking for a driving shoe as the sole covers the heel to protect the satin.
- VIVAIA Cristina comes in more color options that the Carol which only comes in 3 color options.
- VIVAIA Cristina is a foldable shoe if that’s important to you.
