The Micro Lady Dior bag is 100% cute & super popular but how practical is it?
The Micro Lady Dior bag has been trending since it’s launch in 2021 but is the stunning micro Dior Lady bag worth buying? It’s super cute but is it actually usable?I know you’ve all seen the statement making, micro Lady Dior bag which wasn’t made for practicality, more for their aesthetic, so I rented one to see if it’d be worth the splurge or not. Here’s my honest Micro Lady Dior bag review, what fits in this size Lady Dior handbag and everything you need to know before you buy.

What I love about the micro Lady Dior bag
Let’s start with what I love about this bag, what it lacks in space it makes up for in charm.
The iconic shape and structured top handle style is still elegant even in miniature version. It’s embellished with a D.I.O.R. charm, has 1 interior compartment (no pockets) and is made in Italy.
I love how versatile the adjustable, detachable strap makes it. So that you can wear it as a shoulder bag, crossbody bag or top handle bag. I wore it all 3 ways.
If you wanted to try the multi-bag trend, you could attach the micro bag to the medium or large Lady Dior bag or even use it as a little pouch inside.

How big is the Lady Dior micro bag | Dimensions
The Micro Lady Dior handbag measures: 4.5 x 4 x 2 inches (12 x 10.2 x 5 cm) (Length x Height x Width) so it’s definitely not big enough to fit your phone. I ddi try! Even Dior says the size is suitable for a card holder and lipstick which is pretty accurate. Making it perfect for a night out but probably not your everyday bag.

I was surprised at how much I could fit in the bag including my credit card, ID, lipstick, lip gloss, powder puff, eye liner and one car key. The problem came when I tried to get them out again! It’s so small I struggled to even get my credit cards out when I went to pay at the bar.

What I’m not loving about the Lady Dior Micro bag
Like I said, it was a struggle to get anything out of the bag once it was in. I also prefer the old design which had a zip closure, I found the tiny flap really fiddly and less secure.
I also didn’t love the patent leather which looks a little cheap. If I was going to buy this bag it would be in cannage lambskin but bear in mind, lambskin is a lot more delicate.

Is the micro handbag still in style
The Dior micro bag’s staying power has shown they’re more than just a passing trend and are here to stay. If you’re looking for a style that’s too tiny to be practical besides as an evening bag but a fun statement purse you might love this size. If you’re looking for something more practical you might prefer the other Lady Dior sizes like the small or medium.

I would totally rent this bag again for a night out but I wouldn’t personally buy it as it doesn’t fit my phone or light I always have on me to take photos. I’m a medium Lady Dior bag or Dior Saddle bag girl all the way.
