The best and worst white shorts and 2 piece short sets plus the 1 I’m wearing all Summer long
White blazer and shorts sets and white shorts outfit are everywhere this Summer. It’s no surprise since they’re stylish, comfortable and so versatile. What I hadn’t realized was how hard it would be to find a good pair of white shorts! Whether it’s casual or white summer dress shorts. Ones that weren’t see through, creased too easily, didn’t feel like gym shorts and that fit. These are the best and worst of the styles that I ordered from designer to under $100. There’s 2 white blazer and shorts set winners and I’m actually keeping both as one downside is that they get dirty so fast so it’s good to have 2 on rotation. This is what hit the return pile and what hit my closet.

Womens white shorts review haul | The best and worst
From Lulus to Revolve to Balmain, I’m trying 4 pairs of womens white shorts and white blazer and shorts sets in this review haul. Some are more casual and others are more of a tailored white summer dress short. From under $50 to designer buys.

I also had another Karen Millen pair of white summer dress shorts that are on sale delivered while in England that I’ve kept too as they go with the Karen Millen white blazer I also ordered. I like them as they can be dressed up or down, are high waisted, aren’t see-through and have pockets.

Sometimes I wonder if we’re paying for the name rather than the quality so I wanted to compare them side by side for you to see if it’s worth paying more or if the affordable styles compared for quality, cut, comfort and sizing. Here are my thoughts on each style and outfit.
Now that I know what I’m keeping I’ll steam them and add photos as I wear them but I wanted to get this review done as I know everyone’s shopping for Summer and vacation right now. Sorry, so right now you’re stuck with fuzzy screenshots but I figured they’re better than nothing.

Shop the white shorts and white blazer and shorts sets in the review

These are some of the best white 2 piece blazer and short sets from designer to luxe for less to shop for this Summer.
The white shorts and two piece sets in the review haul
- Susana Monaco tailored white shorts (wearing an XS). These run true to size but although the description said tailored I think they’re more casual. They feel like gym shorts and are 90% nylon and 10% Spandex. They’d be good for everyday casual and are a Revolve best seller but I was looking for more of a white summer dress short.
- Balmain white shorts. Don’t laugh but a trick I have with designer clothes is to check out the kids section. As it’s so much cheaper! These are kids age 14 but they were too big and too long. If you’re tall or prefer a more modest length they’ll probably be perfect for you. They’re on sale for under $300. Adult version.
- Lulus white shorts outfit: style under $50 (wearing XS) with Lulus white blazer jacket under $70 (wearing XS). Lulus is always good for on trend, affordable fashion and I love this lightweight white blazer and shorts set. Watch the video to see why.
- Gifted Camila Coelho Revolve off white blazer and shorts set (wearing an XS) Ivory and matching ivory jacket blazer (wearing an XS). The blazer and shorts are sold separately which I like in case you wear different sizes on the top and bottom or don’t want both pieces. The blazer is designed to be oversized but the white summer dress shorts run true to size and are more tailored.

The white blazer and shorts set I’m wearing
Obviously I’m keeping these as they were gifted. Would I have paid full price for them and kept them? Yes. The quality and fit is so good that I actually got the set in hot pink as well. The pink blazer runs big whereas I find the white runs true to size. I also have the matching top to go with the shorts for when it’s too hot to wear a blazer.
There’s a lot of cute blazers and two piece white blazer and shorts sets in the Camila Coehlo clothing line out this Summer, so now that I know how they fit I might order the blue one too.
More white shorts and matching white blazer and shorts sets
In case you didn’t like the options I wore, here’s more styles from designer white shorts to high street brands for all budgets and tastes. From classic, tailored styles to more on trend summer styles and casual denim.

These classic designer tailored lace shorts are from the runway and reduced from over $600 to under $300. For best for budget, it’s hard to beat these white tailored shorts which are part of a white blazer and shorts set for under $50.
